Activist struck by car during ICE facility protest in New Jersey

A Minnesota activist was struck by a vehicle while protesting outside an ICE facility in New Jersey. Alex James, from St. Paul, was taken to hospital with bruises after the incident. Thomas Brown now faces charges of assault by auto. He was also given a traffic ticket for reckless driving. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed the vehicle involved was not driven by an ICE employee. Alex James received hospital treatment for her injuries, which were mostly bruising.
