Siberian tiger spotted near Bolshoy Kamen sparks safety concerns

Residents near Bolshoy Kamen have reported seeing a tiger near the Zarya garden association for several days. The animal was spotted in a forested area close to the garden plots, which is part of its natural habitat. Eyewitnesses described the tiger as lunging at passing cars and acting aggressively. However, Sergei Aramilev, director of the Amur Tiger Center, stated the tiger showed no signs of aggression. He also dismissed concerns about the animal’s behaviour.

Wildlife inspectors are now examining the reports to confirm the sightings and assess the situation. The tiger remains in its natural habitat while authorities investigate. Officials will determine whether any further action is needed based on their findings.
