Three juveniles caught attempting car theft in Lünen industrial area

Three juveniles were arrested on Monday evening after attempting to steal cars from an industrial area in Lünen. The incident occurred at 9:48 p.m. when the group broke into a company building. All suspects are from Dortmund and hold Romanian citizenship. The trio, aged 13, 16, and 17, smashed a window to enter the premises. Their plan was to steal vehicles from the site. The area was under video surveillance, and the owner noticed the break-in and immediately contacted the police.

Officers arrived quickly and caught the youths in the act. They were taken to the Lünen police station for questioning. Later, their legal guardians collected them from the station. The suspects were not held in custody as the conditions for remand were not met. The case will now proceed through the appropriate legal channels. The police continue to investigate the attempted theft.
