BYD Group unveils eight new electrified vehicles at Goodwood 2026

BYD Group will showcase its latest electrified vehicles at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The event will feature global debuts, European premieres, and UK first appearances from BYD, DENZA, and YANGWANG brands. The company’s stand will be the largest in the festival’s history, offering a range of interactive displays and experiences. BYD Group will unveil eight new vehicles at the festival. Among them is the BYD SHARK pickup, making its European debut with a 435 PS DM-o plug-in hybrid powertrain and an electric-only range of up to 55 miles. The DOLPHIN G DM-i plug-in hybrid supermini will also be presented to UK audiences for the first time, boasting a total driving range of up to 646 miles.

DENZA will officially launch in the UK with the premieres of the all-electric Z Coupe and Z Racing supercars. The Z Coupe claims a top speed of 217 mph while maintaining practicality with a 2+2 seating layout and a spacious luggage compartment. The DENZA BAO 5 premium SUV will make its first European appearance, featuring a DM-o Dual-Mode Off-Road plug-in hybrid system.

YANGWANG will introduce the U9 Xtreme electric hypercar to the UK for the first time. This model has already set production EV records at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and for top speed.

The BYD Group stand will include a technology zone, an off-road display area, driving simulators, robots, a merchandise store, and a roof terrace for hospitality guests. The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed will highlight BYD Group’s expanding electrified portfolio. The event will serve as a major platform for the company to present its latest innovations to a global audience. Visitors can expect a wide range of vehicles and immersive experiences at the brand’s largest-ever stand.
