alrajhi capital has chosen EquiLend as its technology partner for securities finance. The Saudi firm aims to offer clients a seamless, secure, and Shariah-compliant service. The move highlights the growing focus on advanced infrastructure in the region’s securities lending market. The partnership will see EquiLend provide a full end-to-end solution to alrajhi capital. This includes access to EquiLend Spire, Post Trade, Data, and Trading tools. The firm expects these to build a more efficient and scalable securities finance business.
Hossam E. Al Basrawi, CEO of alrajhi capital, called the collaboration an important step. He believes it will strengthen market infrastructure and deliver sustainable value to clients. Abdullah Alghamedi, Head of Custody & Securities Services, added that the deal would enhance operational capabilities and broaden market access.
