Nike's bold new shoe lineup merges retro classics with trail innovation

Nike has unveiled a fresh lineup of shoes, blending nostalgia with cutting-edge design. The collection includes revamped classics, bold new colourways, and high-performance models for trail running. The Air Force 1 Low Retro remains a staple, with Bruce Kilgore’s 1982 design still popular after 40 years. A special QS edition now features a red, white, and blue scheme with star details, tying into soccer’s big summer. Nike also used the AF1 to celebrate the season’s major tournaments.

The Mind 001 has become one of Nike’s most talked-about silhouettes recently. Meanwhile, the ACG Ultrafly Trail stands out as a carbon-plated racer with ZoomX foam for maximum bounce. Caleb Olson wore this model to win the 2025 Western States 100, proving its performance on tough terrain.

For trail comfort, the Wildhorse 10 introduces ReactX foam, offering a springy ride. The Air Max 95 Big Bubble brings back the oversized visible Air unit from early versions. The P-6000, inspired by early-2000s running shoes, mixes Pegasus 25 and 2006 elements and supports Nike’s N7 programme for Native American and Indigenous communities.
