All.Space's Hydra Max Terminal Achieves U.S. Army Milestone with Multi-Beam Success

All.Space has achieved a major milestone with its Hydra Max Terminal. The system has reached Technology Readiness Level 6 in the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Tactical Terminal program. CEO Paul McCarter called this a defining moment for the company. The Hydra Max Terminal recently completed trials at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. Tests involved tactical vehicles to assess mobile connectivity in real-world conditions. The terminal demonstrated simultaneous multi-beam connectivity across different orbits.

The trials delivered high data rates and high-definition video transmission. Performance remained strong whether the system was stationary or on the move. Designed for Ka-band networks, the dual-beam terminal supports multiple independent satellite connections at once.

The system is compatible with various Ka-band networks, including future constellations like Amazon’s Project Kuiper and Telesat Lightspeed. Its ability to maintain uninterrupted, intelligent connectivity under demanding conditions has now been operationally validated. The NGTT program itself seeks terminals that can work across multiple orbits, constellations, and services. The Hydra Max Terminal has transitioned from prototype to a proven operational system. It meets the U.S. Army’s requirements for versatile, high-performance satellite communications. The achievement confirms its readiness for advanced military and commercial applications.
