Twelve Digital Transformation Success Stories Unveiled by digi4business Initiative

The digi4business initiative has highlighted twelve successful digital transformation projects from May 2025 to May 2026. It supports local companies in adopting new technologies and improving their operations. The programme is backed by the State of Lower Austria and the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce. Several businesses have benefited from the initiative’s support. Hager Bakery now uses AI-driven demand forecasting to fine-tune production and cut food waste. Ferdinand Berger & Söhne has consolidated large datasets to enable advanced analytics and AI applications.

BTG Spedition und Logistik GmbH implemented an AI-powered dispatch tool to streamline truck routes. BioPower GmbH introduced sensors and custom software to analyse raw materials, increasing biogas production efficiency.

The public will have a chance to vote for the digi4business Project of the Year in July. The winner will be announced in September at a ceremony attended by Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner and Wolfgang Ecker. The initiative continues to drive digital progress among regional companies. The twelve projects demonstrate practical applications of technology in various industries. The awards ceremony will recognise the most impactful achievements.
