Space Force Introduces New Service Uniforms

Space Force unveils sleek new uniforms for recruits in identity push

The U.S. Space Force has revealed new service uniforms for its recruits. The design marks another step in shaping the branch’s identity since its creation in 2019. Developing a distinct uniform has been a key part of this effort. Early prototypes for the uniforms had a bold, futuristic look with shiny silver details. The final version, however, uses dark grey trousers and shirts with a deep navy-blue coat and tie. The coat features a diagonal closure with silver buttons running toward the right shoulder.

The 37th Training Group has shared images of recruits being fitted for the new uniforms. These will first appear at the graduation ceremony on December 18. Eligible personnel have been able to order them since September, with full adoption planned by 2026. The new uniforms are now in production and will be worn by the latest class of recruits. They represent an effort to establish a clear visual identity for the Space Force. Full implementation across the service is expected within the next few years.
