Kazakhstan's Elite Military Lyceum Celebrates 80 New Cadet Graduates
A graduation ceremony took place at Arysan Military Lyceum in Almaty’s Panfilov Park. The event marked the end of a three-year programme for 80 cadets. It began with a wreath-laying at the Eternal Flame. The lyceum is one of Kazakhstan’s most respected schools. Competition for admission is fierce, with eight applicants for every available place.
More than half of this year’s graduates achieved top grades. Nine received honours diplomas, and four were awarded the 'Altyn Belgi' for academic excellence. Most graduates opt for military service after completing the programme.
In December 2025, the curriculum expanded to include IT, digitalisation, and artificial intelligence. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the cadets. The lyceum continues to prepare students for military careers. Its reputation as a leading institution remains strong.
