TEDxThiruvananthapuram returns with a bold 2025 edition after six years

TEDxThiruvananthapuram is returning after a six-year break. The 2025 edition will take place on December 20 at Technopark Phase III, with the theme 'Local Mission, Global Vision'. Arun Surendran, strategic director and principal of Trinity College of Engineering, now holds the licence for the event. It will be a half-day programme with a carefully curated format and only 100 seats, of which 70 are open to the public. Tickets are priced at ₹2,500.

The lineup includes former ISRO Chairman S Somanath, who will discuss his career and the Chandrayaan-3 soft landing mission. Seeram Sambasiva Rao IAS will share insights from his administrative work, covering projects like Nammude Kozhikode and KFON. Nizamudeen A IAS, Director of the Kerala Institute of Local Administration, will add a governance perspective.

All talks will be delivered in Malayalam with subtitles. Every presentation will later be uploaded to the official TEDx channel.
