Manipal University Jaipur soars in 2026 global sustainability rankings

Manipal University Jaipur has climbed in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings for 2026. The institution now sits in the 201-300 band globally, up from the 301-400 band in 2025. This improvement reflects stronger performances across several key sustainability categories. The university made notable progress in multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It reached the 201-300 band for SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). It also advanced to the same band for SDG 13 (Climate Action).

In other areas, the university maintained its 101-200 ranking for SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). It improved in SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), moving to the 401-600 band. Highlights include a 58th global rank in SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and an 85th position in SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). The 2026 rankings show Manipal University Jaipur’s growing impact in sustainability and social responsibility. Its rise in the overall standings and specific SDGs demonstrates consistent progress. The institution now holds stronger positions in innovation, climate action, and energy efficiency.
