Astana honors activists and karate champions at public safety meeting

Erlan Oteuov, First Deputy Prosecutor of Astana, recently chaired a meeting with the Prevention Council and local community activists. The event recognised contributions to public safety and celebrated recent sporting achievements. The meeting began with a review of joint initiatives aimed at preventing offences among minors and young people. Discussions also highlighted the value of cooperation between government agencies and the public in upholding law and order.

Certificates of appreciation and commemorative awards were presented to active participants for their work on socially significant projects. The capital’s athletes, champions of Asia in Kyokushin karate, were also honoured for their accomplishments. Oteuov took the opportunity to congratulate the athletes and their coaches on their success. The gathering underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in crime prevention and community engagement. It also formally acknowledged the achievements of both activists and athletes in their respective fields.
