FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700 launches with blazing Wi-Fi 7 speeds up to 6.4 Gbps

A new Wi-Fi adapter has entered the market with full support for the latest wireless standard. The FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700 offers high-speed connectivity and advanced features. It is now available for purchase at a recommended retail price of €65. The FRITZ!WLAN Stick 6700 operates across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. On the 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequencies, it delivers speeds of up to 2.88 Gbps. With Multi-Link Operation (MLO), the adapter can theoretically reach a maximum data rate of 6,448 Mbps.

The device supports simultaneous connections across multiple bands, including the 6 GHz frequency. This improves reliability and reduces latency for users. It also uses WPA3/WPA2 encryption to secure data transmission.

Full Wi-Fi 7 support will be available starting with Windows 11 (version 24H2). The adapter is compatible with Windows 10 and 11 and can connect to a router via WPS. The package includes a stand, a 0.9-metre extension cable, and a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
