Altitude Secures $18M to Revolutionize Stablecoin-Based Financial Operations

Altitude, a financial operating system built on stablecoin infrastructure, has secured an $18 million strategic funding round. This latest investment brings the company’s total funding to $42.9 million and aims to accelerate its growth in compliance and security solutions. The funding round was led by Solana Ventures, with contributions from several other investors. Altitude, which launched publicly in December 2025, has already processed over $200 million in payments. The platform does not hold customer funds directly—instead, treasury is stored in stablecoins and moves instantly across stablecoin networks.

Altitude addresses key compliance and security challenges through proprietary checks and enforced controls. It also integrates licensed Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to connect with traditional banking systems when required. The system supports global coverage by default, multi-currency transactions, and instant settlement, all while keeping treasury operations separate from the fractional reserve banking model. Squads Protocol, the underlying infrastructure, currently secures over $10 billion in value. It specialises in asset custody and money movement, ensuring that transactions remain efficient and secure.

The new funding will help Altitude expand its compliance and security features. By leveraging stablecoin infrastructure, the platform enables faster, more transparent financial operations. Businesses using Altitude can now access global payments with programmable controls and reduced reliance on traditional banking delays.
