Asus debuts its first Snapdragon-powered watch at CES 2026

Asus is set to unveil its first watch powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 Elite at CES 2026. The company has also secured early access to the high-end Elite Extreme version of the chip. These devices, including the ProArt PZ14, will likely reach stores soon after the event.

The launch timeline for Snapdragon X2 Elite systems appears to have moved forward. Originally expected in the first half of the year, the release may now take place in the first quarter. OEMs, including Asus, are preparing to showcase their new models at CES 2026.

Pricing details have begun to emerge. The difference between a 16-inch model with 48GB of RAM and a 14-inch version with 32GB is expected to stay under €200. Asus will be the only brand initially offering the top-tier Elite Extreme variant, giving it a temporary edge in performance.

Retail availability should follow shortly after the event. Consumers could see these devices on shelves within weeks of their CES debut.

The Snapdragon X2 Elite launch marks a quick turnaround from announcement to store shelves. Asus will lead with exclusive access to the highest-performance variant. Pricing and availability details are expected to firm up during and after CES 2026.
