ATHA Energy uncovers major uranium deposits in Nunavut's Angilak Project

ATHA Energy Corp. has released new assay results from its 2025 Angilak Exploration Program in Nunavut, Canada. The findings highlight significant uranium mineralization across multiple discoveries within the Angilak Uranium Project. Company executives describe the results as a potential breakthrough for the region’s uranium potential. The 2025 program focused on unlocking the broader potential of the Angilak Uranium Project. ATHA drilled 46 holes since acquiring the project in 2024, with 45 intersecting uranium mineralization. All twelve drillholes along the 12 km Mineralized RIB Corridor (MRC) confirmed the presence of uranium.

Three key discoveries were made within the MRC. The RIB West Discovery spans a 2.2 km strike length, featuring a high-grade intersection of 1.36% U₃O₈ over 0.6 m. The RIB East Discovery, with a 750 m strike length, recorded an even higher grade of 5.55% U₃O₈ over 0.5 m. Meanwhile, the RIB South Discovery, defined by a single drillhole, returned an intersection of 0.11% U₃O₈ over 1.5 m. The MRC contains stacked graphitic shear zones, and all discovery areas remain open in every direction. Cliff Revering, Vice President of Exploration, noted that the data suggests a large mineralizing system within the Angikuni Basin. CEO Troy Boisjoli added that the MRC’s success could position it as one of Canada’s most significant emerging uranium regions.

ATHA’s 2025 exploration has confirmed widespread uranium mineralization across the Angilak Project. The findings, including multiple high-grade intersections, point to a substantial mineralized system. Further work is expected to expand on these discoveries within the open-ended MRC.
