Bayer modernizes global payments with Broadridge Swift migration

Bayer AG has completed a major upgrade to its global payment systems by migrating to the Broadridge Swift Service Bureau (SSB). The move modernises the company’s financial infrastructure, supporting over 4 million transactions each year across more than 80 banking partners worldwide. The migration was carried out using an agile, team-based approach. It involved rigorous testing of message exchanges with over 20 of Bayer’s banking partners. This ensured smooth and secure communication under the new system.

The updated infrastructure aligns with Swift’s SCORE+ performance standards. It provides Bayer with a more scalable and future-proof messaging model. Enhanced transparency, compliance, and operational resilience now underpin the company’s global payment processes.

Bayer’s treasury operations will benefit from standardised and secure financial messaging. The upgrade strengthens the entire framework, making cross-border transactions more efficient and reliable. The transition to Broadridge SSB marks a significant step in Bayer’s financial operations. The new system improves security, compliance, and scalability for its vast network of international payments. With millions of transactions processed yearly, the upgrade ensures greater stability and performance for the company’s global treasury needs.
