Berlin bus stop stabbing leaves man in critical condition after violent attack

A 33-year-old man is in critical condition after a violent stabbing at a Berlin bus stop early this morning. The attack, which happened just before 6 a.m., left the victim with life-threatening neck injuries. Police later linked the same suspect to a second violent robbery hours later.

Less than four hours later, the same suspect struck again. At 9:35 a.m., he boarded a bus along Pannierstraße and robbed a female passenger at knifepoint. The woman was forced to surrender her money before the attacker fled. Police responded quickly and apprehended the man shortly afterwards. Authorities have now launched an investigation into both crimes. The suspect faces charges of aggravated assault and armed robbery.
