Capco and Taurus Partner to Bring Digital Assets to European Banks

Capco and Taurus have joined forces to accelerate the adoption of digital assets among financial institutions in Continental Europe. The partnership aims to help banks and other firms integrate digital asset services seamlessly while adhering to regulatory standards. Both companies see growing demand as Europe's rules for digital assets evolve.

Taurus specialises in enterprise-grade solutions for custody, tokenisation, and trading of digital assets. Its platform is already used by major financial institutions exploring this market. Lamine Brahimi, Managing Partner at Taurus, highlighted the firm's increasing appeal as a trusted infrastructure provider for banks.

Capco brings over 25 years of experience in large-scale technology projects for the financial sector. Under the new agreement, it will serve as Taurus' implementation and integration partner. This means Capco will assist institutions in rolling out Taurus' digital asset tools without disrupting their existing systems.

Owen Jelf, Managing Partner for Europe at Capco, anticipates transaction volumes and institutional interest in digital assets to increase across key European markets. The partnership comes at a time when clearer regulations are facilitating banks' exploration of digital asset opportunities.

The collaboration between Capco and Taurus will provide financial institutions with a faster route to adopting digital asset services. By combining Taurus' technology with Capco's integration expertise, the partnership aims to simplify deployment while ensuring compliance. This move reflects broader industry efforts to capitalise on Europe's maturing regulatory environment for digital finance.
