Coahuila's Congress Elections Kick Off with 200+ Candidates in Play

Campaigning for Coahuila’s state Congress elections began on June 6, 2023. Voters will head to the polls the following day, with 2.49 million registered to take part. This year’s contest features candidates from six national parties and three state-level groups competing across 16 districts. The election will see over 200 candidates vying for seats in the state Congress. A total of 4,275 polling stations have been set up to accommodate voters.
