Deel Local Payroll launches one-click salary payments for UK businesses

Deel Local Payroll has rolled out embedded payroll payments for UK businesses. The new feature lets payroll managers process salaries and pay employees in one step. It is currently available only to customers using Deel’s local payroll service in the UK.

Ireland-based customers will not have access for now. The embedded payments system is powered by Crezco, a UK payments platform regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. It removes the need to export payment files, prefund separate wallets, or switch between different systems.

Payroll teams can now handle bulk salary payments through Open Banking bank transfers. The process includes secure bank authentication, flexible payment scheduling, and real-time tracking of payment statuses.

Each payment batch supports up to 500 transactions. Larger customers can use alternative payment methods if needed. The system also reduces manual admin work and cuts the risk of late or incorrect payments by removing manual data entry errors.

By automating the process, the embedded approach tightens security. It prevents mistakes like incorrect beneficiary details and version control issues that often arise with manual handling. The new capability offers clearer visibility over outgoing salary payments. It streamlines payroll processing while keeping operations secure and efficient. For now, the feature remains limited to UK-based Deel Local Payroll customers.
