DHL Express Brazil has optimized its payment process by integrating Pix, Brazil's leading real-time payment system, following a partnership with dLocal. Pix now appears as a direct online payment option during checkout, replacing manual steps like bank reconciliations and payment receipt requests. The system automatically confirms and reconciles payments within the company's CRM, reducing delays. The results have been immediate, with online payment rates climbing by 31% and Pix transaction volumes surging by 400%. Marco Vollmer, Chief Financial Officer at DHL Express Brazil, noted that parcels now clear for delivery in minutes rather than hours, reducing operational bottlenecks and improving customer satisfaction. Luisa Ribeiro Nunes, Country Manager at dLocal, emphasized the need for payment solutions that match the pace of express delivery. The partnership aims to expand further, with plans to add other local methods like Boleto in the future. The integration of Pix has cut processing times and increased payment efficiency for DHL Express Brazil, benefiting customers with quicker parcel releases and the company with higher adoption of digital payments.
