France Resumes Visa Services in Kuwait After Temporary Closure

The French Embassy in Kuwait has reopened its visa section, allowing travellers to apply for French visas once again. Consular services have resumed, with applicants now required to start the process online before visiting in person. The Visa Application Centre (CEPIGO) in Kuwait has also restarted operations. All applicants must first complete an electronic form on the official French visa website. After submitting the online application, they need to book an appointment at the centre before attending.

The embassy's visa office had temporarily closed before reopening in February 2024. No details were provided about the length of the earlier shutdown.

Travellers seeking French visas must now follow a two-step process: an online application and an in-person appointment. The reopening of both the embassy's visa section and CEPIGO means services are fully available again.
