Google's AI overhaul transforms productivity with Gemini 3 and cinematic tools

Google has rolled out fresh AI-powered tools for its productivity and search services. The updates include new ways to edit presentations, streamline document access, and create dynamic video summaries. These features are currently limited to certain users and languages.

One of the standout additions lets users revise presentations using AI-generated prompts. The system, powered by Gemini 3, acts as a 'creative director', handling structural and stylistic tweaks automatically. This function is only open to Google AI Ultra subscribers aged 18 and above, with English as the sole supported language.

Google has also simplified workflows by allowing direct access to Docs, Sheets, and Slides from Google Drive links. Clicking a link now opens the file in its native app rather than a preview window.

Another major update is Cinematic Video Overviews, which blends three AI models—Gemini 3, Nano Banana Pro, and Veo 3—to produce smooth animations and detailed visuals. The tool aims to turn text-based search results into engaging video summaries.

The new features expand Google's AI capabilities but remain restricted to a specific audience. Ultra subscribers meeting the age and language criteria can now test the tools. There is no official word on wider availability or regional access.
