JCB is expanding its presence in Australia through a new partnership with Adaptalift Group, a family-owned equipment provider. The deal combines British manufacturing with Australian operational expertise, according to both companies' leaders. Significant investment in service support and spare parts supply will back the move. Adaptalift Group, which operates 12 branches across Australia, will now represent JCB in major cities. These include Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide, as well as regional hubs like Newcastle and Geelong. The company's national footprint made it a strong partner for JCB's growth plans.

JCB's expansion includes new warehouses and a logistics agreement with DHL Supply Chain. The goal is to reduce machine downtime and improve service speed for Australian customers. Graeme Macdonald, JCB's Chief Executive, expects this to bring a noticeable improvement in support quality. Tim Burnhope, JCB's Managing Director of Sales, described the investment as a clear signal of commitment to Australia. Deputy Chairman George Bamford added that the move aligns with the company's long-term strategic vision. Meanwhile, Adaptalift's CEO Lindsay Whiffen praised the partnership as a blend of UK engineering and local operational skill.

The deal will see JCB's products distributed through Adaptalift's existing network. Faster service and better parts availability are key outcomes of the expansion. Both companies have emphasised their confidence in the Australian market's potential.
