Kamag's ePM 101 revolutionizes heavy-duty transport with zero emissions
The Kamag ePM 101 has been transforming logistics operations since its launch in 2023. This all-electric transport vehicle allows companies to run emission-free daily tasks while cutting operational costs. Designed for heavy-duty transport, it is now in use across Germany and Europe by firms like Max Bögl and Goldhofer partners.
The ePM 101 builds on the strengths of Kamag's PM series, originally developed for handling swap-body trailers in fast-paced logistics hubs. Its high-performance electromechanical drivetrain uses lithium-ion batteries and smart thermal management for efficiency. Precise control of the system delivers dynamic handling, strong performance, and reduced noise levels.
Ergonomics and operator comfort were key priorities in its design. The vehicle features a low entry height for easy access, new sunshades for sun protection, and a roomy cabin with an intuitive control layout. Safety was also enhanced with ECE-compliant lighting and heated mirrors.
Godehard Eidenhammer, Head of Sales for Logistics Vehicles, highlighted that the ePM 101 brings the advantages of the latest vehicle generation into an electric format. The model supports companies in meeting sustainability targets by lowering their on-site CO₂ emissions.
The ePM 101 has been on the market for around three years, proving its value in heavy-duty transport. Its combination of efficiency, ergonomics, and sustainability helps logistics firms reduce costs while improving working conditions. The vehicle continues to expand its presence in European transport networks.
