Plans for a new 2,100-student school in Khabarovsk's Orekhovaya Sopka district have been reviewed by the city's Urban Planning Council. The modern facility, estimated to cost around four billion rubles, will also include a WWII Victory Memorial Church nearby. Both projects aim to meet current educational and historical needs.

The school's design focuses on innovation and accessibility. Classrooms for younger pupils will face southeast to maximise natural light. Each primary-grade student will have more space—3.5 square metres instead of the usual 2.5. The building will also be fully barrier-free, ensuring access for students with disabilities.

Security measures include two permanent checkpoints at the entrance. Inside, flexible learning areas and interactive technology will support modern teaching methods. The school will comply with all current educational standards. Alongside the school, the Church of All Saints of the Russian Church will honour Victory in World War II. Construction is set to finish by November 2028.

The new school and memorial church represent major investments in Khabarovsk's infrastructure. The school's expanded facilities and advanced features will accommodate up to 2,100 students. Meanwhile, the church will serve as a lasting tribute to WWII veterans.
