Khabarovsk Krai boosts support for military families with 40+ new measures

Khabarovsk Krai has introduced over 40 new support measures for participants in the special military operation and their families. The regional government expanded financial aid, healthcare, and housing benefits to address the needs of servicemembers and their loved ones. One of the key changes is an increase in the one-time payment for reservists. The amount has risen from 1 million rubles to 2.1 million rubles. This adjustment aims to provide greater financial security for those called up for service.

Servicemembers with severe injuries now receive 500,000 rubles in compensation. Those with minor injuries are entitled to 300,000 rubles, while individuals lacking official documentation still qualify for 150,000 rubles. The region also offers psychological counselling and legal assistance to affected personnel.

Families of those killed or missing in action receive a monthly allowance of around 5,500 rubles. Children of certain categories of fallen servicemembers are eligible for an additional 10,000 rubles each month. Non-working elderly parents of participants can access spa and sanatorium treatment once every two years.

Housing support includes partial reimbursement of utility expenses for servicemembers and their cohabiting relatives. Combat veterans and their families may also apply for subsidies of up to 100,000 rubles to cover the purchase and installation of gas equipment.

Spouses and parents of disabled participants in the operation can receive in-home, inpatient, or day-patient care. These measures ensure that both active personnel and their families have access to essential services and financial relief. The expanded support package in Khabarovsk Krai covers financial aid, healthcare, and housing assistance. The changes reflect an effort to provide tangible help to servicemembers, veterans, and their families during and after their involvement in the special military operation.
