Khabarovsk Krai's ninth-grade exams begin with 14,000 students testing

The main State Final Certification (GIA) exams for ninth graders in Khabarovsk Krai will begin on June 2, 2023. Over 14,000 students have registered, with preparations completed across the region to ensure smooth testing conditions. The exams will kick off with a mathematics test. A total of 14,688 students, including 1,589 with disabilities, will take part in the assessments. Those with disabilities can opt for either the Basic State Exam (OGE) or the State Final Exam (GVE) format.

To earn their certificate, most students must pass four exams: two mandatory and two electives. However, students with disabilities are only required to complete the two mandatory subjects. The main exam period will continue until July 6, 2023. The Khabarovsk Krai Ministry of Education and Science has approved the minimum passing scores and grading scales. Results and answer sheets will be accessible online through the regional Services 27 portal. Meanwhile, 324 testing centres have been set up across the region, all equipped with computers, video surveillance systems, and metal detectors.

The exams will run under strict supervision in well-prepared facilities. Students will receive their results digitally, ensuring quick and transparent access. The certification process is designed to accommodate all participants, including those with special needs.
