A Cross Procession will take place in Khabarovsk on Trinity Sunday, May 31. The event follows the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral and is led by Metropolitan Artemius of Khabarovsk and Priamurye. The procession will begin at around 11:30 AM after the Liturgy concludes. Starting at the Transfiguration Cathedral on Glory Square, participants will walk to the Dormition Cathedral of the Theotokos on Cathedral Square. Metropolitan Artemius will lead the way, joined by clergy and parishioners carrying crosses, banners, and icons.
The procession serves as a collective prayer for peace, the well-being of loved ones, and the blessing of the Khabarovsk region. Once it reaches its destination, a festive programme will take place in Muravyov-Amursky Park for all attendees. The event brings together clergy and worshippers in a traditional display of faith. After the procession, participants can join celebrations in the park. The day marks both a religious observance and a community gathering.
