Komsomolsk-on-Amur will see major traffic changes on May 9 due to Victory Day celebrations. Several streets will close, forcing six bus routes to take detours. City officials have urged residents to check their travel plans ahead of time.

Dzerzhinsky Street and Mira Prospect will shut down for the anniversary events. The closures will remain in place until the commemorations finish.

Route No. 7 will now travel between Start Settlement and the Pedagogical University, avoiding the blocked areas. Route No. 12 will skip Truda Alley and Oktyabrsky Prospect, instead running from the Cold Storage Plant to the ‘Bus Station’ stop via Kirov Street.

Route No. 14 will bypass Ordzhonikidze Street, Mira Prospect, Dzerzhinsky Street, and the 66th Block. Its new path will connect the Rassvet store to the Pedagogical University and back. Route No. 20 will follow a similar detour, linking the Cold Storage Plant to the university via Kirov Street.

Route No. 23 will operate between Uralskaya Street and the Pedagogical University, also using Kirov Street. Meanwhile, Route No. 25 will avoid Dzerzhinsky Street and the embankment, running from the Amurstal Plant to the House of Creativity.

The city administration has warned drivers and bus passengers to expect delays. All rerouted services will return to normal once the celebrations conclude. Updates on further changes will be shared if needed.
