Krasnodar region braces for digital TV outages next week

Digital TV viewers in parts of Krasnodar region will face temporary disruptions next week. Scheduled maintenance on broadcasting equipment will pause transmissions in Verkhnenikolaevskoye village and the Hosta microdistrict. Both areas will experience a six-hour outage on separate days.

The first outage will affect Verkhnenikolaevskoye village on March 10. Two days later, the Hosta microdistrict will see its signals interrupted. In both locations, the RTRS-1 and RTRS-2 channel packages will go offline from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

Technicians will inspect all key components during the work. This includes receiving and transmitting hardware, as well as auxiliary systems. They will also check and adjust signal quality settings to ensure optimal performance.

The maintenance follows standard procedures for digital broadcasting infrastructure. No details were provided about the total number of channels transmitted by RTRS in the Krasnodar region, though the packages include multiple state-run networks.

Viewers in the affected areas should prepare for the temporary loss of digital TV services. The work aims to maintain reliable signal quality for future broadcasts. Normal programming will resume immediately after the maintenance period ends each day.
