Magadan adjusts bus schedules for Victory Day celebrations in 2026
Several bus routes in Magadan City will run on adjusted schedules next year. The changes come as the city prepares for municipal events on May 9, 2026. Temporary traffic restrictions will also be in place during the celebrations. The schedule adjustments will affect nine routes in total. Routes No. 1, 3, 5, 6, 12, 15, 20, and 25 will all see changes to their usual timetables. Commuters are advised to check updated departure times in advance.
Temporary traffic restrictions will be enforced from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on May 9. These measures are part of the city’s plans to mark the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Road closures and detours may impact public transport operations during this period.
The changes aim to accommodate the large-scale events planned for the anniversary. Residents and visitors should plan extra travel time or consider alternative routes. Updated schedules will be available closer to the date.
