MegaFon offers free iCloud transfers to Mail Cloud for a week

MegaFon has rolled out a new service allowing users to transfer files from iCloud without using their mobile data. The promotion runs from May 13 to May 19, giving subscribers free access to Mail Cloud in both browser and app. The move aims to help customers shift their photos, videos and documents to a domestic cloud storage solution effortlessly. The partnership between MegaFon and Mail introduces an Auto-Upload feature for iCloud users. This tool automatically transfers files in the background, ensuring no extra cloud storage space is used. Subscribers can now move large collections of digital memories without worrying about data limits.

During the promotional period, MegaFon will not charge for mobile data used with Mail Cloud services. This includes accessing the platform through browsers or the dedicated mobile app. The company hopes this will encourage a seamless transition from foreign storage to a local alternative. Mail Cloud itself is designed to keep important files and digital albums safe and easily accessible. Users can store and retrieve their content without the usual constraints of data allowances or storage restrictions.

The offer runs for a limited time, ending on May 19. MegaFon subscribers can take advantage of the data-free transfers to move their files from iCloud to Mail Cloud. The initiative supports a broader push for domestic cloud adoption while simplifying the process for users with large digital libraries.
