Ostfalia University brings hands-on science to IdeenExpo 2026 in Hanover
Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences will showcase its latest innovations at the IdeenExpo in Hanover from June 20 to 28, 2026. The event invites young people and visitors to engage directly with science and research under the motto ‘Just Give It a Try’. The university’s 500-square-metre exhibit will be located in Ideenhalle 7, part of the Digital Worlds theme area. Eighteen interactive displays will focus on energy, sustainability, and digitalisation. Visitors can explore topics like renewable energy, robotics, and sustainable design through hands-on experiments.
Faculties taking part include Civil Engineering, Water and Soil, Electrical and Information Engineering, Vehicle Technology, Supply Engineering, and Transport, Sports, Tourism, and Media. Central university bodies, such as the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office and the Central Student Advisory Service, will also contribute to the booth. The IdeenExpo itself runs for nine days, offering a platform for young people to experience cutting-edge research in an engaging way.
