Russia launches digital certificates for special military operation veterans

A new online service has launched in Russia to help veterans of the special military operation access official recognition. The Gosuslugi portal now allows them to obtain a certificate confirming their participation. This move comes alongside ongoing support from regions like Khabarovsk Krai, where residents continue to send aid to troops on the front lines. The digital certificate can be requested through a special form on Gosuslugi. Once submitted, the document arrives in the user’s personal account within four business days. Applicants must have a verified account on the platform to use this service.

Family members of servicemen can also check their relative’s status using the same feature. For those who prefer in-person assistance, the certificate is available at Multifunctional Public Services Centers, local military enlistment offices, or the Defense Ministry’s Military Social Support Center. Khabarovsk Krai has introduced 46 support measures for participants in the operation and their families. These include one-time payments, benefits, and psychological or legal aid. Seventeen of these initiatives fall under the Unified Basic Standard, ensuring structured assistance for those affected.

The new Gosuslugi feature simplifies the process of verifying military service for veterans and their families. With both digital and in-person options available, access to support measures has become more straightforward. Khabarovsk Krai’s ongoing aid efforts further reinforce assistance for troops and their loved ones.
